Good Morning!
How was your weekend? It is our last week before we break up on Friday and we can all have a lovely week off. Have you got any plans?

I’m going to to the theatre at the weekend and I’m going to wales next week. I’m sure I will fit some shopping and some coffee and cake in next week too!!

Healthy Schools Bus

All the Juniors took part in a healthy schools roadshow this afternoon. It was great fun having our lessons outside!

GRADUATION CEREMONY

A group of 16 children visited St Georges Hall for a Graduation Ceremony to receive their certificates for achieving their Bronze Award in the Children’s University.  The children had taken part in a wide variety of activities including: Choir, Spannish, Swimming, Netball, Bible Club, Country Dancing, Nutrition and Bocca.   As well as Certificates all the children were presented with a Teddy.  During the ceremony the audience were shown a video of the activities taking place at Springwood Heath.

Very well done to you all.  Hopefully next time there will be many more children able to graduate.

Choir News

Springwood Heath choir has some important engagements coming up shortly. On Sunday 14th December we are taking part in All Souls’ Christmas service at 10.30. the children will be singing a carol called ‘Gloria’.

On Monday 15th at around 11.00 we will be singing in the entrance to Tesco in Woolton village. We will be collecting for Zoe’s place. Why not come along and support the children while you are shopping?

Lastly on Tuesday 16th December we are going to entertain the folks at St Michael’s Manor residential home on Springwood Ave. Children from Springwood Heath have been doing this for many years and the residents always look forward to their visit.
